We are situated in the prairie region of western Canada, 52 ° N latitude and 106° W longitude, at the northern edge of North America's Great Plains. According to the Plant Hardiness Zones of Canada map (Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada), Saskatoon is located in zone 2b. For comparison, Vancouver BC is considered to be zone 7-8a whereas Canada's arctic is zone 0a.
The Arboretum is located at the southeast corner of the intersection of College Drive and Preston Avenue in Saskatoon, near to the U of S campus. Traveling north on Preston Avenue, turn right on the gravel road just after the Arboretum sign. Parking is available on site.
There are no admission fees and the Arboretum is open to the public dawn to dusk, year round.
