According to the Plant Hardiness Zones map (Natural Resources Canada) Saskatoon in located in zone 3b. For comparison, British Columbia's Lower Mainland (one of the warmest places in Canada) is considered to be zone 8a-8b, whereas Canada's arctic region is zone 0a.
The Arboretum is located at the southeast corner of the intersection of College Drive and Preston Avenue in Saskatoon, near the USask Campus. Travelling north on Preston Avenue, turn right on the gravel road just after the Arboretum sign. Parking is available on site.
There is no admission fee and the Arboretum is open to the public, dawn to dusk, year round.
